Why Should you Make These Green Beans?
Green beans are the type of vegetable that can be served alongside pretty much any protein. They are so easy to make by throwing all the ingredients in a pan and let them cook away. I love making this particular recipe as a side dish when meal prepping for the week or for a quick weekend dinner. Although you might think green beans taste a little bland, there are different ways to make them savory. Here, I’ll show you how to prepare them with minimal effort. Keep on reading.
Thoroughly rinse the green beans with cold water and pat them dry with a paper towel. In a medium size skillet, heat olive oil over medium high heat. Add garlic and onions and toss until fragrant, be careful not to burn. Then, add green beans and saute them for about 5-7 minutes or until slightly tender. Lightly season with salt and pepper. Lastly, add balsamic vinegar and saute until liquid is evaporated and green beans are fully coated. Serve over a platter and enjoy!
I hope you decide to give these Sauteed Garlicky Green Beans a try and enjoy them alongside your beloved family. Happy Holidays!
